yea if you took a shot of beer and a shot of liquor obviously the liquor would be stronger but a beer is 12 ounces and a shot is one so your drinking twelve stimes as much. so if a beer is 5 percent alc times 12 ounces then that equal to a shot of like 60 percent alcohol which is 120 proof, u do the math st00pid fukker

ok let me try and explain it for the mentally unstable...

if you do a shot of 80 proof, that has 40 percent alcohol in it
a shot is one ounce, therefore you consumed 40 percent alcohol of one ounce

if you did 2 shots of 40 proof liquor at 20 percent alcohol then it still equals 40 %

so essentially 2 shots of 40 proof is equal to one shot of 80 proof

therefore if you look at a beer in shots then a bottle of beer contains twelve shots (roughly)
so if a bottle of beer is 5 percent alcohol then you would times it by the twelve 'shots' you took of it leaving you
with 60 percent alcohol...making it 120 proof

but taking a shot is much quicker usually than drinking a beer so you also have to take that into effect..your welcome cats for your free lesson in alcohol consumption
