This album just bugs the shit out of me, because it's Joey singing songs written for other people. I'm listening to the previews and the Dan Nelson versions were actually better.

The one song I heard sounded pretty good. I don't even know who Dan Nelson is. lol
He was the guy they got after the 2005 reunion fell through with Joey, and he was with them from 2008 to the end of 2009. He was criticized for basically being an Anselmo/Bush wannabe, but he sounded good and definitely brought that heavy vibe that Anthrax seemed to want. It was also cool because he could do both Joey and Bush eras. Unfortunately, he was a drunk, so there was this whole deal where they said he was sick and they had to cancel a tour and he said he wasn't sick and he was out of the band. They never really clarified but whatever. Then they got John back for the first half of 2010 and it was awesome, and he was supposed to record with them, but he refused to record songs that weren't written for him so he said sorry and got the fuck out. With no other options, they got Joey back again and since he wasn't doing anything he would gladly try and sing over parts that were meant to be yelled/screamed.
