DRI Providence Club Hell 2/28

Anyone want to go to this show for free? I bought a pair thru Enterthevault, and the way it works is that i show them an email to get into the venue. I am not able to go and because i do not have physical tix, i am not going to sell them. I contacted Enterthevault and they told me i can have the tix put in someone else's name, and just to give them the new name a week prior to the show. Anyone want to go for free?

you guys would have been out of place. the 4 opening bands are all hardcore punk bands. that was why i decided not to go. didn't want to sit thru 4 crappy bands, on a sunday night, to see one band i like a few songs from

I think the DRI show has a good lineup. POW is one of my favorite hardcore punk bands, and Wisdom in Chains and For The Worse are both good.

I have always hated going to shows where the punk crowd outnumbers the metalheads. I have a bad experience that i will never forget where a band i roadied for played a punk fest and were the only metal band. The punks actually bought demos, stomped on them, and thru them at the band. i was majorly harassed. i was trying to get along and have fun, but those assholes made it impossible

I agree a lot of punks can be total douchebags about everything when I go to hardcore punk shows. Guess it's their way of enjoying music though.

thats how its always been. the reason why punk is always pissed at metal, is cause metal basically ripped off punk but made it better. punk will always and has always been the original "extreme" music. thats why the shows are notorious for being violent. i just wish we could all get along. cause i love both

I love Hardcore Punk but I love Metal just as much and I do agree that punks can be douche bags at times, but I cannot wait to see DRI this March!!
