For those who don't mind thinking with their TV, Showtime did a brilliant series a few years ago called Sleeper Cell. I was a fan at the time and I loved it, but I'm rewatching it and I can't believe I forgot how good this series is. It's an excellent insight into what it's like to be a Muslim in America, and what it's like to be a Muslim in the modern landscape of Islam. The plot centers around Darwyn Al Sayeed, who infiltrates a terrorist cell in Los Angeles and his attempts to stay true as a Muslim and still do his job. It's absolutely incredible.

Ip Man (1).... is also on netflix and is a great movie. Recommended too
