Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds revealed to Noisecreep that he is teaming up with Dillinger Escape Plan shredder Ben Weinman, former Mars Volta drummer Thomas Pridgen and ex-Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery.
There is not much music recorded yet, due to the members of the group living in different locations, but Hinds commented that "We want to record crazy stuff and Ben is working on that, but it's been hard to get together." The band doesn't have a name yet, but Hinds is eyeing Giraffe Tongue "because they look sick." Honestly, I could give a shit what you guys call yourselves, just let me hear some music ASAP. Kthnxbai.
