I'm late, but I just downloaded By The Light Of The Northern Star By Tyr, and I'm in love.
I gotta download more Pagan and Folk Metal. Eluveitie is next. I loved Inis Mona when I heard it.
Empyrium - "Wieland".... neo-folk, but still an amazing album by a very important band.

For sure, I'm not sure if it's quite folk though, but I'll play along.
A recent essential, but an essential nonetheless.
