Supposedly the CDC posted this to actually prepare people for hurricane season but sugar coated it as a zombie attack
i think the CDC posted it as a joke and to get people to go to their site and read it and was hoping that people would read their other survival stuff.

You;d think after all the years of zombie movies and video games, the CDC would already be prepared for this kind of thing. The movies generally show the government being ignorant to what zombies are, so hopefully they would know what they were dealing with.
