Mastodon are kinda digging their way back out of their OMRTS hole. I'm conflicted on EOS because I think it's got good songs on it, but they kinda stagnated with their sound. I can see why they thought CDP is darker. It gives me a heavy occult vibe. None of their QOTSA/Clutch experiments. Sounds more like if Pallbearer went surfing
