I just picked mine up today. First listen opinion: Pretty solid. Good album, back to a good style. Alot of people are jizzing over it though and claiming it to be up there with Peace Sells and RIP. Those people can eat a dick. The writing is definitely good and instrumentals refreshing. Hell of a lot better than Super Collider, and better than 13. I'd say its most comparable to System Has Failed sound.
So exactly what did Brian Wilson do to skyrocket back to relevancy and headlining festivals? Did the hipsters just get ahold of him or something? The Beach Boys have been here every other year it seems like playing small amphitheater shows without much noise but now I'm seeing his name everywhere.

Ayo Alex and Slap, watch this video and gurantee you will be at their next show. Vocals aren't pretty but he shreds like no other for the last half of the video. He definitely sounds better today.

has it gotten any better? I know when they your its more like a show Han a concert but I'm probably going to go see them in March.
