I've known of them for going on four years now and never actually listened to them beyond the two songs I knew. Fuuuuck Brittany's voice got my heart. Calling off and going to see them the 29th. Wish the newer album didn't drop the older sound and all piano but it's w/o I love her.
it sounded a bit tryhard prog/"djent" (kind of reminding me periphery or tesseract) at first but then it quickly went into the classic grooves we heard on valley of smoke and prehistoricisms. im very anxious for it.
and really upon hearing the beginning again, its just heavy as fuck in intronauts way. theres enough of a difference for me to appreciate it a lot more than the aforementioned bands.
I think you would really like Alabama shakes nola. Everybody makes fun of you for being old, they're a southern band fronted by a chick that puts her soul into it
