To be honest the metal scene specifically in Nashville is kinda weak. There are some good shows that come through, but not many. The local metal scene is decent though.
For singer-songwritter/indie, folk, bluegrass, country, and christian the scene is happening though.
Plus there's Bonnaroo. Heard it's really fun but they never book enough good acts to make me wanna go. Might go this year just to see if I can find some tasty treats.

He's obviously pretty big in Nashville. Hits up shows there. Saw him chillin at a Weedeater show I was at. Heard he puts on a good show himself.

Decent jazz scene too.
TN/NC/SC get skipped over a lot. Tours usually jump from Richmond to Atlanta or the other way around.
I'm talking more alt country then metal
idk apart of me wants to just go big or go home . Texas.
