Is anyone watching this show?

I must confess that this season I am for the first time since Season 1, but I have a totally legitimate reason for doing so.

Anyways, Last week Zakk Wylde was on and playing guitar for one of the singers. And this week that same singer fucking owned the stage by playing that popular Muse song. It was pretty epic I thought.

I pretty much feel the same way which is why I have avoided it like the plague for the last decade.

What pulled me in this season though is one of the contestants has tourettes and my son has tourettes so I was kind of interested to see how it affects him. That is really the only reason why I watch.... and it has been really interesting watching him because he has a lot in common with my son. People typically dont know my son even has it because it's not like the extreme case people typically stereotype. My son is almost exactly like this dude.... occasionally he will flinch his eyes make some sort of shrug. But whenever he starts doing music there is like no sign of it.

Anyways, I'm watching to see how tourettes affects this kids life. kind of personal education for me....

I did see the Zakk Wylde thing tho, because I was at my over at my sisters house for my nieces b-day. I officially pronounced being done with him at that point.

idk, the tv was in the living room and i was in the kitchen so i didnt have too good of a view, but she looked pretty good from what i could see.

I get Zakk is a total sell out, but I guess I dont blame him. the fucker can play guitar and does so in a way that is pretty entertaining. I gave him a pass.

i found about about Zak being on Idol from coworkers. they know i like metal and asked me if i know who he was. they asked me to recommend a CD. So it did result in at least one person buying his CD

I stubbornly disagree. He's a frickin sellout. I'm not saying, I might not do the same thing, but still.

Plus as he appeared I had family members asking me who he was and then ribbing me because they all now how I feel about the show. [-(

I agree he is a sellout. I'm just saying I don't fault him for it. You should have just told your family, just because that dude is a sellout doesnt have any reflection on the music I like.

why? Because she is so hot and most guys would like to put babies inside her?
