I was totally down for this before Y&G. But after they released that, I don't think they'd be good for Mayhem or vice-versa. To try to please the Mayhem crowd, they'd have to play mostly older material, and they probably don't want to do that. They wanna play their new shit.
I think they'd be fine. With a short set, they'd probably play new songs like Take My Bones Away and March To The Sea, songs that aren't a great departure from what the other two albums did. Just because the new album is more rock than metal doesn't make them any less of a fit. They'd still play Blue Record and Red Album material.
