2. The price of our prom was around $3-500 if I remember right

I didn't have a whole lot of friends in my grade and the ones I was friends with all had dates and their own plans. In the end I saved 3-500 bucks both years just for the tickets alone

i once drove for 23 hours, got to a gold mine, worked all day on a skidder, ate supper, slept for 4 hours and drove 23 hours straight back.

i didnt get to go in the actual mine. just worked on the skidder outside. they wanted us to work on it on the frozen lake but i was like fuck that theres no way im working on a 28 000 pound piece of equipment on a frozen fucking lake
