I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I've always liked Enslaved's black metal more than the rest of the pack, and Alcest have released only one album to Vertebrae's or Isa's caliber. Souvenirs is a damn fine album, but doesn't measure up to what Vertebrae or Isa are. Ecailles may be better than Isa or Vertebrae, I haven't decided yet, but I'll pick Enslaved most of the time.
