A question about college

So, I'm settled down in the whole taking accounting but I'm also considering taking a baking/pastry class for kind of fun. I figured since Shane's gonna be gone a lot I want to stay occupied and at least it'll improve cooking/baking skills. I know that there's no future in culinary unless if I want to devote myself 24/7 so that's why I'm taking accounting. I'd like to keep cooking stuff for fun and accounting for money. Does this sound like I will overload myself w/ school work?

I don't see how you could justify the cost. If this is just an extra class that has no extra expense, then I wouldnt think taking a class like that would add much to your workload.

I'd probably want to try and take a class like that at a community college though. One of the classes that arent really for credit but for the general public. know what I mean? I took one like that for guitar.

Yea, I'm definitely going to a community college down the road from our house. I'm one of those that despite having to drop out (for work reasons, I couldn't go to school and afford to live) I really love school. That's why I just got my GED and aced that test w/out studying. I just know realistically that culinary arts is not going to make me any money so I might as well do it for fun.

do whatever makes you happy. i got a friend that went to culinary school and shes now working in a casino in Atlantic City. she majored (i dont know what else to call it) in pastry. she also took a few other things but focused on pastry.

are you going back full time or part time? if its full time usually there are spots for free electives. if not then i would see if there are like community classes that the town or city put on which would be much cheaper

I'm probably going to start full time as long as Shane is gone most of the time. If he's gone most of the time, then i'll be able to focus on school a lot more than if he's home distracting me.

College classes are expensive as fuck. If it doesnt count towards your degree than the benefits may not justify the cost of the course. I'd say it depends on how much it costs, and how you are paying for it (pell or other grants yes, cash maybe, student loans fuck no!)
    Pass the god damn butter.
