well then except the fact that you might have to....sometimes things you don't wanna do turn out the best for you when you step out of your comfort zone
I almost wonder if my head is still fucked from my concussion two years ago the headaches I get are in the same spot every time and that's where I landed on my head

I'd say get checked out by a doctor and seriously think about what you want to do. You say you work 60+ hours a week. That's a lot lol. That's a lot AND you're working at night. I'd say try to get on the day shift because your health and life are important. If people lump you in with the others who just don't want to work nights, so be it. You know who you are and living is much more important than what others think about you

You MIGHT want to get that checked out then.
oh for sure...concussions are serious business man....they can linger for the rest of your life
As many of you already know I work long night shift hours. Over the last few months I have developed some problems. Usually around 2 or 3 am I start seeing double and getting headaches. Over this time I have also started dozing off on my drive home and have run off the road once no damage or injury though I woke up immediately. My girl and my mother freaked out when I told them about this and told me to go to the doctor and get a note so that they will put me on dayshift. Problem I have with that is several people over the last year have done it and done it with bullshit excuses just to get on dayshift and I don't want to be one of those people I feel it should be earned.
With day shift comes a 10% paycut. If I were to stay on night shift and risk things getting worse I am looking at a promotion and about a dollar 50 raise. So me going to dayshift would lead to about a 3 dollar an hour difference. As well as having people pissed at me because they will lump me in with the others that got doctors notes. I honestly don't know what I should do so I am turning to my nighttime online friends(?) for help in this choice. What should I do?
I have driven the night shift for the last year, driving a big rig from 6pm to about 4am, then driving a half hour home in my car....I experience the same thing, as far as dosing off on my drive home.....I can tell you honestly you are not getting enough sleep during the day, OR you are getting home after work and going directly to bed.....think of it this way: when you work days and get off work at say 5pm, you don't normally go to bed at 6pm, right. you eat, shower, watch tv, etc...Because you are working the night shift, try this: try and train yourself to stay up after you get home, even if for a few hours at first....Try and sleep in the afternoon until it is time to get up for the night shift.....
the way you are doing it now is causing you to start your work day at what is technically the last third of your "awake time"....

Thyroid problems maybe, even mono can cause it. Go to the doctor, broski.

I'll set up an appointment to talk to the doctor. Part of me fears that something is fucked up with my head and it would be best to not know
Have you tried not being a Ginger?
