not really and my parents say that it was not even remotely a close representation of growing up in the 70s at all....they both think its a stupid movie
i mean i dont hate the movie, ive seen it a bunch ot times and i like it, but compare it to like fast times at ridgemont and please its not even remotely close

I dont really think the two movies are compatible. I like Dazed, it's fun drammaish movie to watch and probably even more fun to watch high. Waynes World is a comedy. I like comedies, which is why my vote went that way. Dazed might be a better movie from an artistic standpoint... But I liked the silly metal based humor of WW.
