I was 12. We conned our Cub Scout leader into taking us. When Ted Nugent swang out on stage by a vine and yelled "Are you motherfuckers waiting on me?" the leader was ready to take us all home. We just disppeared until the show was over and got into trouble for disappearing. It was fucking worth it.

^lol.....the first concert where I was genuinely afraid for my safety was show at an old, now gone venue called The Thirsty Whale, in Chicago land....It was an Over 21 show and I was 19. My buddy from work snuck me and another guy in to see Grave, with special guest BodyBag.....there dudes in those pits that were literally trying to hospitalize people....the place was tiny with brick walls, and dark,, and terrifying yet exhilarating at the same time....
