Agreed with both of these, the way I support bands is through going to as many shows I do and buying merch directly from the bands. I wouldn't be listening to half the bands I currently do if it wasn't for frostwire/limewire and torrents.

If I had the money I would buy every album by all the bands I like, fact is, I'm broke. For me downloading music is like a gift from above because I don't have to fork out money I don't have to hear some Metal (or whatever music you like). I see this as nothing more than hypocritical coming from a record label of all things telling us we are ripping off bands.

The only reason I actually buy stuff is because I am a collector and if the album is good I support the band because I think they did a good job. If I download an album and it sucks I'm not going to run out and buy it, that would be retarded.

I find CDs way more hassle. Gotta rip it to mp3 to listen, then keep track of the stupid fragile disc.... Fuck that. iTunes awwwww yeah.

Over exaggerate much Tim? I've never spent 20 on a cd that wasn't a special edition of some kind. 13 is the most I spend most CDs I buy are 10 if you buy them the day they come out.
