i have a story that can 1 up yours, leah. im italian too and many people say my last name wrong. back in high school my gym teacher ALWAYS said my last name wrong and i corrected him a million times but its like he didnt even hear me constantly correcting him cause he kept saying it wrong. i eventually gave up and then my friends started correcting him and he'd STILL say it wrong. and to top it all off the fuckin' guy is italian lol.

I got one that can top that. A teacher in high school's last name was Ricci. No matter how much I told him, he could not pronounce my last name right...Ricciuti. -_-
