iPod Touch question.

My iPod wasn't charging the other day, so I tried it on the PS3. and the PS3 charged it, but it still won't charge on the computer, anyone ever have this kind of problem? It's been a problem ever since I downloaded the new iTunes update a few days ago.

it might be the USB port on the computer..... try something in it; and see if that works

is it recognizing it? will it let you edit anything in your ipod?

It has that "DING" sound when I plug it in, so the computer recognizes it, but iTunes doesn't and it doesn't charge. And it's not the USB Port, because everything else works fine. My phone is charging right now from the USB port actually.

I had a similar problem before, and wound up having to re-register my ipod before it recognized it. It happened after i upgraded to a more current version of Itunes. It sucked because it cleared everything out of the Ipod, but it worked fine after that.

I always just restart my ipod just hold down the buttons
and it should regonize it on the computer.

Aight never mind. False alarm. Restarted my computer, it recognized it, synced it, and is now updating my iPod to 4.2. <_> Lolz.

i actually found a new generation 8gb ipod touch at the as i lay dying concert. it was password protected so i had to reset it to factory default i was looking forward to creeping on whos ever it was xD. so now i have a brand new ipod in perfect condition except for minor scratches on the back. too bad i hate all apple products or else i would keep it. at least i have a present for my gf.

yep 30 gig classic lol... at least it still sounds good when i plug it in a speaker, and the left ear port works
