Hah. The majority of the shows I've been to were Philly, some in AC, only 3 in NYC and 1in Harrisburg, PA...so I'm happy to try a new venue. Apparently, it's only 20 minutes from my school.
Lol it's not that bad. I used to go to EB mall all the time just because it was the only place I could get rides to. I kinda miss Sayreville. I usually take a day when we go on vacation that I get to go to Sayreville and Shane spends alone w/ his mom.
Well, New Brunswick has gotten dangerous studentwise. Lot of muggings recently. I moved up here in late August. I haven't really explored the towns around here though.
I lived on Washington Road/ Jernee MIll Road growing up. I lived about 50 feet away from Wawa. Wawa was actually my bus stop. Was really convenient for the morning.
About that time, before that it was a nightclub that was really really violent so they sold it to the guy who owns Starland. Sad factor is, I was able to get into Starland for free but never bothered because I was always too busy w/ work. When we take our vaca I'm probably gonna take a day away from Shane and drive back to Sayreville and hopefully catch a concert.
Cool! yeah itsd one of my favorite spots to see a show! i guess the guy they sold it to really fixed it up cause its a really nice venue. I just went there 2 weeks ago and seen glassjaw and I saw Hatebreed there in january and I'm going there again with Britt to see Down in April. The fist show I went to there was in like 2002 I think. And I went to an outside show there in 2004 called sounds of the underground. that was awesome! but yeah i really digg that place, its the closest venue to me, so any cool concert there I go to \m/
Yea, I think my first show I went there was to see Disturbed back when me and Shane first got engaged. I remember him looking it up and saying "Starland" and he didn't believe me when I said I really knew how to get there. It was awesome because if we drove from PA we were able to stop by my parents house and just eat there and leave about 10 minutes before doors open.
thats cool! yeah, it takes me just about 20mins to get there with no traffic. i didnt realize it was so close when i moved up hear. i used to live in camden county, its like an hr south, so it used to take me almost an hr and a half to get there, so i didnt go as much, but now its my main venue I go to, i digg it alot!
