cruiselines typically buy small islands out in the tropics. They arent really big enough for anyone to live there on a full-time basis however cruise lines love them because they can drop their group of 3k people off on their own island and they get to enjoy paradise. Very common thing most cruise lines do unless you are ghetto like Carnival. The Cruise I am taking next Jan/Feb is stopping at our own private island.
