Have you guys gone to any good punk shows? Best one I have been to was anti-flag, the casualties, the unseen in 05. I've never got to see a full rancid set but when I saw them on warped tour in 03 it was amazing

core to me was always just a fusion of a buncha genres. Grindcore was just a fusion of death metal, thrash, and noise to me lol... never really put punk in it.

Yeah. Play Minor Threat twice as fast and you basically have grindcore.

Bands just started fusing it with death metal because it was the only way to progress.
