instrumentals are ok but arent as good as songs with lyrics. the best songs of all time have great lyrics that enhance the music to a better place. metal heads never understand the importance of lyrics....

There are definitely songs where the lyrics enhance the music, but I think that fantastic music can still be written without the use of distinguishable lyrics. Emotions can still be portrayed in pure music. Classical music is some of the most emotional music known to man, often without the aid of lyrics whatsoever. Saying instrumentals cannot be as good as songs with lyrics is just moronic.

Emotions can still be portrayed in pure music. Classical music is some of the most emotional music known to man, often without the aid of lyrics whatsoever. Saying instrumentals cannot be as good as songs with lyrics is just moronic.
