fucking lag makes me miss the FG and it's making me not INT the damn ball. I can pick him off easy but nooooooooooo! It likes to lag right when he throws it which means automatic catch and my guy stays frozen for a split second.

Aww...just a second. Try hitting A to jump and it taking 5-10 seconds to fully jump or do anything else...
It's laggy....you know how shit gets when lag happens <_>
