That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if some clueless "rocker guy" did it. Like the guy that grows his hair out and starts playing guitar because of Nickleback.
Wouldn't doubt it, but actually, this freshman dude looked straight out of the 80's. He was the biggest stoner I've ever met, and he looked exactly like Bret Micheals, complete with headband, ripped up denim, skintight Poison shirt, jumbo aviators, completely stoned hippie voice, long blonde hair, and a denim jacket and a notebook covered with patches of Kiss, Crue, Bon Jovi, Poison, Whitesnake, etc.
This kid was born in the wrong decade. But later in the year, he looked more like a 60s hippie, sporting tie-dye everything. I think he probably wrote it.
I would of have loved to meet that guy. All we have here is complete scene kids or my friends who are normal metalheads.
He's quite a character. I constantly tell him he was born in the wrong era. He's a really nice dude though.
I just fucking love messing with the scene kids talking about who is more br00tal.
Me too. Me and my girl are the only actual metalheads in school. Everyone else thinks BMTH is the best band ever, and everyone else is a wigger whiteboy or is a redneck farmboy.
MAIN STAGE Metallica (unlikely) or Slayer - i have a feeling at least 1 of the big four will be there next year System of a Down (possibly) or Static-X - i have a feeling that SOAD will be doing something big soon, Static-X would be another strong possibility Testament - they did a few shows this year so its not entirely out the window for next year. and they have a new album coming out late this year or next year i think Anthrax - just a feeling
SIDE STAGES (not in order) Dawn of Ashes - just a hunch. their debut (i think) album came out last year and i dont think they've toured at all this year. and they're signed to metalblade. The Black Dahlia Murder - theres usually been at least 1 repeat band and i would suspect it would be them for next year. Toxic Holocaust or Hatebreed - TH has a new album this year and i think mayhem fest would be a better place to promote it then a small headlining tour and hatebreed is always a strong possibility for touring festivals like ozzfest and mayhem fest. Skeletonwitch - new album coming soon and they've been coming onto the scene pretty strong over the last few years. they're due for a spot on mayhem fest. DevilDriver - can't go wrong with putting them on the bill Bury Your Dead - just a hunch and they have a new album coming soon or it might even be out already Mushroomhead - just a guess. im sure they'll be putting a variety of bands on the bill to appeal to everyone The Agonist or Landmine Marathon - im sure there will be a female fronted band again next year and them having SLS on it this year makes me think these 2 are strong possibilities A Black Metal Band - no clue which one but mayhem fest hasn't put any black metal on their lineup yet except for behemoth? (idk if they're black metal or not, i dont listen to them)

Not a bad list, but there are a few problems.
First of all, Metallica is one of the big 4 who probably will not play because ticket prices would be through the roof. Anthrax, MAYBE.
Second of all, Static-X is on hiaitus.
Third of all, we all know the lineup isn't going to be a "variety" as hopeful as we want to be. But hey, like always, maybe we'll be surprised.

Same their might be 5 true metalheads I know. Last year during weightlifting I was wearing a old Slayer shirt and some guy came up to me and siad yeah I use to be into them until I got into more brutal stuff like The Devil Wears Prada I was like <_>

I honestly don't know why they would have rap of any kind over there.

If they're getting a female fronted band, Arch Enemy is highly likely.
If there weren't so many fucking shows this year I'd see them with Chthonic and Skeletonwitch
Lacuna Coil seems like a fair bet to have a female fronted band.
