Kinda known in the college radio scene since we're close to NYC and have a massive staff. Our metal department is huge and I'm about to be promoted to metal director. :-SS
WHAT!? Congratulations that's awesome! Jesus at this rate you'll actually make it into the major radio companies from wherever you're from. You're midnight there, whereas I'm only 9:30 here 0_0
Yeah. Just got told Thursday that Susan is sick of it and my promotion is coming.
How popular is your guy's station?

Yeah, 12:30 here. And I don't want to do radio professionally. I hate my voice tooucb and can't stand the politics of radio...which is why I dont want metal director, but I'll help me get my internship at Relapse.

Really? Your voice sounded just fine to me. You mean the rules and guidelines of radio? Ah yeah for sure that will help.
I'm really self critical with my voice. And yeah, FCC rules, station rules, DJ fights...etc. Its tiring and I've been doing it since 2007.
Huh well I wouldn't worry much lol, I didn't think there was anything wrong with it. Wow didn't know their was so much bullshit in the radio business. I knew it was competitive for sure, but DJ fights? That's new for me lol
To be a DJ, you have to have a big personality that can come across without people seeing you. Sometimes, a lot of times, those personalities clash. And there's A LOT involved in radio.

Oh damn, that actually isn't me whatsoever. I can't pull off the arrogant, stuck up, jack-ass scene at all. My ego is not that high. Well shit, I wonder if that's for me at all....
I'm not that in person. I don't know what it is...being on air...knowing my opinion is being heard...I become loud and sometimes annoying. Shame you didn't listen in last week. I had two friends on and it was crazy. Just try it...if you don't like it, then at least you know you tried.

Oh I wasn't saying you were like that. Honestly when I heard you today I thought you were very soft spoken and down to earth. Lol yeah it really does sick I only joined this forum like last weekend. Were you guys just being funny the whole time? Lolz! :-P I'll see what happens to my life. Who knows, maybe I won't need to if the band kicks off.
I was soft spoken because I was tired and am losing my voice. ) I can be loud when I want to. And we were arguing last week and they were singing, etc. Me refusing to play dubstep. Gushing about how awesome Lamb of God was going to be. It was crazy...but a good crazy.

Oh damn. ) kudos for not playing dubstep! And yes! LOG's new album is by far their best. I was very impressed especially with Mark Morton's leads. He's gotten better.
I can stand dubstep live, but it is NOT making it on my show. And the Lamb of God show was insane...if you haven't read our reviews of it in the Concert Review Thread, you should. I'm still limping from that show. Twas amaaaazing.

Hahaha! I can only imagine! I've seen them 3 times and they never have disappointed me with their brutality. The wall of death kills me every time. My friend actually blacked out once from it. So brutalz lol. I'll for sure check it out.
I almost passed out...but totally worth it. I for once didn't go in the wall of death.
Damn! Hahaha! That's crazy. I almost passed out once when I saw them with Children of Bodom. The crowd literally were up against one another so tight, and I was at the very front of the barricade that was keeping us from the main stage. I'm 6'2 but these guys next to me were 6'6 at least and they fucking lifted me up with their arms squeezing against mine. I couldn't breathe for about 10 seconds. Then the crowd put so much weight on the barricade that we broke it down, and the security guards were like "BACK THE FUCK UP!" and then Bodom was like "You guys are so fucking hardcore, but we gotta take a break and let them fix the barricade alright?" ) it was truly a metal moment.
There are multiple boat shows. I want to go on the 20,000 Tons of Metal Cruise...or whatever it's called. This one was for CMJ festival, Rocks Off Cruise. Press pass got me on for free. They have it every October. The year before it was Goatwhore, but I wasn't able to go.

At the Kvelertak/Skeletonwitch show in October, there was no barricade since it was a boat. We were the barricade. We kept flying into the bands.
