Okay so some electronic stores have the extended warranties set so they overlap with the manufacture warranty, these suck(best buy does this)
ooffice depot has it so the extended warranty is actually extended an extra year(or two)
all electronic stores have it so if you buy 2 years you always get that one extra year behind the manufacture warranty at least so when buying electronics buy the 2 year
for an example buy an iPod for $250 and pay the $20 2 year warranty thing. in a year a new ipod will be out for the same price. about a year and a month after initial purchase take it in and say the battery wont hold a charge for more than an hour.
make sure you saved you warranty paperwork
give them the paperwork and they will refund you(depending on their policy) or since they no longet carry that version anymore they will put it towards the newer one. youre out the $20 for the warranty but come on. $20 ipod is epic.
and be sure to buy the warranty for the new one too. $20 a year for up to date iPods is epic.
