good ebooks for under $5?

So I have $5 left on a Border's giftcard after using it to order a book online, so I don't have enough even to order a $1 paperback after taxes and shipping. I'm checking out the ebooks for anything worthwhile. Any suggestions?

None of this library stuff is relevant because it was a gift card. I'm not going to put it to waste. Besides, the same mentality can be used with renting vs. purchasing movies. I like to keep a collection of my favorites.

I actually just bought my first ebook on my iPhone 3gs last night. I was reading for about an hour and a half and when I was done my vision was wicked blurry.

thats because the technology for reading ebooks isnt the same on the ipod as it is on the nook/kindle

glare has to do with the screen. eReaders like the Kindle/Nook are built for sustained reading, while iPods are built for other things and these third-party apps don't account for it.
