I can't wear skinny jeans, my thighs are way to big and my calves are way to small.

I can't say much about the skinny all the down the leg, but those jeans in that picture are skintight until just above the knee.

Ya, not that skinny, but I'm not that skinny either, my thighs are 25 inches around so obviously I'm not going to look like Newstead when I wear skinny jeans.
