According to TMZ.com, MÖTLEY CRÜE and Live Nation are being sued by Ron Toma who claims he owns the copyright to the famous "belt buckle photo" taken by photographer Michael Pinter back in 1981. CRÜE used the image on the cover of the band's classic debut album, "Too Fast for Love".
According to Toma's lawsuit, filed in Illinois Northern District Court, CRÜE and Live Nation used the image without permission on signature hooded sweatshirts they are selling on their web sites.

The new ones just started selling. Maybe those are what they're talking about. That's the second lawsuit of this type that LiveNation has been involved in. (Sabbath/Ozzy sued them too and won.)
That would be sweet, but they would probably be back to cruefest, right?
