    I haven't listened to the new Obscura nearly as much as I have the new CoB. So that's the reason why right now.

    listened to a few songs before bed last night. its solid i guess, nothing i would call mindblowing. it wouldn't even make the top 20 of my albums of the year


    the new Vreid is probably gonna wind up in my top 10 however

    i wouldn't expect it to be. you like death metal a lot where as i favor more melodic stuff.


    you however cannot argue what Johan's Vox on Surtur Rising are badass, especially live without regret

    Yes his vocals on Surtur are extremely good. Best I've heard out of him. The lows are so low yet they give a very good tone. When I play my Bari at school, it reminds me of the vox on the album because of how clean the tone is yet how low the note is. The vocals are definitely one of my favorite parts of the album and I'm hoping I can see them at Jaxx to see how well he pulls those off live
