dickinson is a pompous asshole who writes dumb lyrics. the only thing that he has going for him is his pipes but i dont like singers like that anyway. the band is good though i just cant stand dickinson
Don't get me wrong, I love maiden, one of my top 10 favorite bands hands down... But pantera is definitely my favorite band of all time.. You guys gotta realize their greatness

phil is definitely an asshole sometimes but i wouldnt say pompous. he doesnt think he shit dont stink, hes just confident. i think theres a difference. as far as dumb lyrics go..phils not the greatest lyricist in the world thats for sure but the topics of his lyrics definitely relate more to me personally than some epic dungeons and dragons battle bullshit...
Don't get me wrong, I like Pantera. They were very important and influential in metal history. However they are very overrated as well. They have 3 good albums and that's it. Iron Maiden accomplished more by 1984, than Pantera did in their whole existence.
ill agree pantera is overrated, i like down better than pantera actually but i just dont see the iron maiden hype and ithink they are severly overrated and i think a band like black sabbath is a milluion times better than iron gayden
