I was totin' my pack along the long dusty Winnemucca road, When along came a semi with a high an' canvas-covered load. "If you're goin' to Winnemucca, Mack, with me you can ride." And so I climbed into the cab and then I settled down inside. He asked me if I'd seen a road with so much dust and sand. And I said, "Listen, I've traveled every road in this here land!"
[Chorus:] I've been everywhere, man. I've been everywhere, man. Crossed the desert's bare, man. I've breathed the mountain air, man. Of travel I've had my share, man. I've been everywhere.
I've been to: Reno, Chicago, Fargo, Minnesota, Buffalo, Toronto, Winslow, Sarasota, Wichita, Tulsa, Ottawa, Oklahoma, Tampa, Panama, Mattawa, La Paloma, Bangor, Baltimore, Salvador, Amarillo, Tocapillo, Baranquilla, and Perdilla, I'm a killer.
[Chorus]
I've been to: Boston, Charleston, Dayton, Louisiana, Washington, Houston, Kingston, Texarkana, Monterey, Faraday, Santa Fe, Tallapoosa, Glen Rock, Black Rock, Little Rock, Oskaloosa, Tennessee, Hennessey, Chicopee, Spirit Lake, Grand Lake, Devils Lake, Crater Lake, for Pete's sake.
[Chorus]
I've been to: Louisville, Nashville, Knoxville, Ombabika, Schefferville, Jacksonville, Waterville, Costa Rica, Pittsfield, Springfield, Bakersfield, Shreveport, Hackensack, Cadillac, Fond du Lac, Davenport, Idaho, Jellico, Argentina, Diamantina, Pasadena, Catalina, see what I mean-a.
[Chorus]
I've been to: Pittsburgh, Parkersburg, Gravelbourg, Colorado, Ellensburg, Rexburg, Vicksburg, Eldorado, Larimore, Admore, Haverstraw, Chatanika, Chaska, Nebraska, Alaska, Opelika, Baraboo, Waterloo, Kalamazoo, Kansas City, Sioux City, Cedar City, Dodge City, what a pity.
I could handle two months of darkness. One I'm a Ginger we like the dark and hate the sun. Two I've worked nights since I got out of high school. Not really by choice but I really only see the sun on my drive into work and on weekends
jesus you work nights but see the sun on the drive in??? the sun goes down at like 5 now were you meaning in the summer? i work nights but i don't usually start until about midnight and work till 9 or 10 am...so i see the sun when i get out until i go to bed thats about it
ahh thats cool....working nights is ok...its definitely a different lifestyle from everyone else....i just don't get much sleep cause i have to do shit during the day
Sometimes it is frustrating dealing with the people you live with that expect you to do things and then when you say no they say " well all you do is sleep all day" it is like well no shit you moron you have to sleep to function for work to. There have been times when I have told my mom and my fiancée to fuck off I was so mad after things like that were said. I work more fucking hours and on a shift that allows me to have no life during the week. Hopefully my hours will change soon *crosses fingers for dayshift job I put in for at work*
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
yeah its a bitch...the people i live with are loud as fuck on the weekends and i have been working a lot of weekends...i worked christmas eve, christmas, new years eve and new years day and couldn't sleep for shit cause they all had time off....i was only getting like 15 hours of sleep a week during the week from november all the way threw the end of december...it fucking sucked
I hate 90 degree weather cuz I sweat so much, but 70 degree, with a light breeze is perfect, both times ive been to florida it was in the spring time, an it was perfect weather.
You know Florida gets really hot right?
I would probably stay here where I am or move to San Diego, California. I have family there and I love the area and weather.
i live in the Boston area, and have lived in the Orlando and Chicago areas. Boston area is by far the best. We got the ocean, mountains, great metal scene, great sports scene. Don't have to worry about earth quakes or hurricanes too much. we have the occasional blizzard, but not too bad. Orlando sucked the worst. summers were brutally hot and i like my four seasons. I enjoyed my time in the Chicago area, but not as good as Boston
