They're getting younger. They need to shed some dead weight with guys leaving via free agency and the power play needs an overhaul. If the power play was average their playoff position would likely be much better.

Mantha called up from GR. Kid's improved a lot since last year. Hopefully he can give us a boost.

This is probably the worst wings team I have ever watched.

Usually can't get younger without getting worse. If the power play was anything decent they'd have about the same record as last year.

Honestly Babcock was patching over major problems with this team with his incredibly defensive system. Hopefully now Holland will actually go out and get the defensemen we've missed since Lidstrom and Rafalski left.
