Los Angeles cyber metallers FEAR FACTORY have been confirmed for the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise, which is set to sail from Miami, Florida to Cozumel, Mexico on January 24, 2011 and return four days later. A total of 40 acts will appear at the event.
The festival billing is shaping up as follows:
AMON AMARTH DEATH ANGEL EPICA EXODUS FEAR FACTORY FINNTROLL FORBIDDEN MOONSPELL OBITUARY RAVEN SAXON SODOM SONATA ARCTICA STRATOVARIUS SWASHBUCKLE TESTAMENT TROUBLE ULI JON ROTH WITCHBURNER
"Alot of good bands on there but that is way overpriced. That ship is the smallest and one of the oldest in Royal Caribbean's fleet. I won a raffle prize and went on a 4 day cruise on that ship a couple years ago and let me tell you it is a dump compared to most cruise-ships out there these days. That ship does the 3 & 4 day Bahamas cruises out of Miami and gets alot of wear and tear from riff-raff aboard it that payed $249 for their "vacation". "
I dont think its too outrageous. You get to see 40 awesome bands, you get to meet and chill with some of them. Not to mention you are on a cruise ship, so aside from the music side of things you can still relax and get wasted on a boat.
