I can't think of 5 players in the NFL on defense who I want on my team more than Patrick Willis. I think it'd go Darelle Revis and maybe Clay Matthews but I can't think of any more.
Bradie James- Though I think they are just about the same. Willis is ahead of him in tackles just by a few. D-Ware Witten Austin Romo was top 5 QB all the way until he got hurt. IMO I think he would have been #4 right now if everyone stayed healthy.

Willis has played far fewer seasons than James. Using stats is in Willis' favor by a loooong shot. He doesn't demand the attention from an offense that Willis does.
Witten has had an extraordinary career no doubt, but his value now is diminishing and he has not demanded the attention that he deserves, and even since, his numbers have been dropping.
Austin Talented no less, a great possession receiver. He's too young to make a definitive answer, but I believe his value to the Cowboys offense could have been equal to Willis' value to the 49ers defense had Romo been healthy. However, that is not the case.
Romo I would post his fumble here, but I don't have to. Poor play in the red zone and poor decision making place him outside of the top five at QB when he's healthy. He has a ways to go.
Ware is the only one I can possibly see, but let it be known that he is in a glamour position. He accumulates a ton of sacks, which gives the illusion that he is a dominating player on every down. However, in non pass rushing situations, he is not. Through six years he has accumulated far fewer tackles than Willis has through four. Willis is a boss in coverage, something that I don't know much about Ware in (only seen him four or five times), but I doubt it's close. He runs a 4.56 as opposed to Willis' 4.49.
I watch a ton of football film, and as I do so, no player has earned my respect more than Willis. You should see the amount of trouble offenses put themselves through to take him out of a play. He is the best linebacker in the game today, and it sucks he's on such a poor team. Few players deserve a ring as much as him.
Once again a metal free xmas lol. no one will ever buy me metal shit even though thats literally all i ask for. i dont even really want it but i know no one will get it for me anyways so its funny. but i can at least buy some metal with my itunes card

wah what? Witten has had a great year. How is his role diminishing when he's getting over almost 100 yards a game? He's almost top 10 in receiving yards this season and is 46 yards away from a 1000 yard season. If he does then he will actually be in the top 10. His #s have actually picked up these last 2 years and I think will continue to a little. How can you he's not getting the attention he deserves? that's just dumb. He also had a monster game with over 130 yards. Yeah he won't get as many looks with Dez and Austin on both sides, but he's still Romo's go to guy and he has proved to be a clutch and go to guy when need be.
If Romo was healthy he would definitely be top 5 QB right now. You can't blame the poor red zone play on him, when it was the whole offense that wasn't helping. The guy has a shitty o line and he still manages to get over 300 yards a game and multiple TD's. He is getting better and better each year and it's a matter of time when he finally just goes crazy and breaks out. Last year he mad more yards then Drew Brees and only 30 something less then Peyton and those 2 were the leagues top QB's. The only reason why the Cowboys lost last year was because of the O line. Every damn play they would let the D through and Romo had to run for his life. Of course he's going to make poor decisions when he can't stay in the pocket for more then a fucking second.
I was going to say...he's 3rd in receptions this year. Only TE in the top 15. And you talk about the glamour position, which I agree with....but then you bring up 40 times. 40 times prove almost nothing unless you're looking at an ungodly difference like 4.3 to 5.6
