metallica has lost their attitude. in the early days it was "we're doing what wwe want so fuck you" now its "we're doing what we want because it doesnt matter, people will buy our shit regardless." it just seems like that are not trying anymore ever since lars made that comment in some kind of monster about making aggressive music without negative energy i just want to say to him "dont you see this new stuff isnt as good as the old days?!" dont get me wrong they are still making some good songs but they are nothing special anymore in regards to being a breakthrough heavy metal band anymore (obviously) if their name wasnt metallica, they would still be in the small clubs trying to make it as a band
