Yeah i agree hes super explosive. Silva doesnt really throw enough to put himself the kind of danger for a dead shot like that usually. A boring fight could work in his favor
He doesn't but neither does Machida. I think Yoel would use his wrestling which is Silva's weakness. Although I think Silva would be able to hold Yoel better than Machida so he doesn't get his face punched into the ground
Man a lot of people are talking about how weidman was screwed and was winning the fight prior to the flurry before and the knees that stopped the fight.
Idk man. Sure weidman got the takedowns but he didn't hit one significant strike once he had him to the ground. Plus weidman was getting totally pieced up on the feet. He was being outstruck 3-1 and mousasi had a lightning jab.
Id have to go back and watch that first round in slow mo. Live i gave it to weidman but after looking at the stats im not so sure about that. He probably still won the first because of the takedowns. He wasn't out struck as bad
I don't think he was winning (he probably was on at least one judges scorecard). I thought Chris was fading fast though and it was only gonna get worse for him as time went on.
Im pretty sure that he was just trolling bisping. Everything that iv heard from people who have worked out with him have said hes in the best shape they have ever seen him in. GSP isn't the type to come back out of shape.
