It was crazy. Seeing him get rocked like that and then get up and just get all up in reems grill. Reem has a very good ground game and the second stipe put him on his back the fight was over. Reem had 0 chance. It was incredible.
Also happy to see punk only made 500k. I'm sure he got PPV buys too but I was worried he was gonna make more than stipe and reem and that wasn't the case.
So I'm hearing that 203 only looks to have done 425-475 buys. Which is in between 100-200k more buys than your average HW PPV. If these numbers are true that's probably the nail in punks coffin. They control his right so he won't be fighting for bellator.
They shouldn't have signed him then waited two years to have him fight. i know he needed to learn how to fight, but he should have been doing that long ago then have the UFC sign him. People had forgotten about him and when they finally announced he was going to fight, most people didn't care or knew he would get steamrolled.
