I enjoy pink floyd alot on occasions but they are just overrated thats all. the only thing against Zep is some of there songs tend to drag on
Don't forget that Robert Plant whines over every song. I'm cool with people liking that, as I like Danzig (whom I know is disliked by many), but I can't stand Plant's vocals.

I'm not a big Pink Floyd fan but I wouldn't call them overrated. I went to a Floyd laser light show at an Imax theatre years ago and it was freaking awesome.
of course I was stoned out of mind that night but still... B-)

I know that you and I are two huge Pink Floyd fans, so I will offer this. These people have likely only heard Dark Side and the Wall, two of Floyd's least enjoyable albums in my opinion. I'd be surprised if these people have all heard Piper, Animals and Meddle.
i agree, i was never the biggest darkside fan and whenever floyd comes up its all people seem to talk about. people who think floyd is overrated need to download some of their other albums, listen to them for a few weeks, the check yo self nigguhhz...
