Well apparently I dodged a fucking bullet...
I came home to my house yesterday for the remainder of the weekend to do some much needed grocery shopping.
Literally ONE HOUR after I left my apartment, there was a fire on the fifth floor. Sprinklers went off, flooded the fifth and fourth floor and water seeped down all the walls of the third. I'm on two. Now here's how lucky I am:
ALL of my concert setlists and signed posters (and a few power outlets, mind you) were along the wall of my room. It stopped dripping feet before my shit.
On a serious down note though, my friend's living room (who we always hang out in) is completely fucked. He lost his bigscreen TV, Wii, Harddrive, and iPhone and subwoofer and all of his carpet is sopping wet. Poor guy.
