its pretty cool not expecting anything out of a band and having them kick your ass

over the years i've had a ton of bands do that. this is the reason i see all bands possible. Bands i didn't care about until i saw them live that i saw in the last year include: Ravage, Kings X, Bret Michaels, Goatwhore, Skeletonwitch

Not at all. If it was a really bad opener like ICP or something I'd just show up late.

It's not really ICP themselves, but their fans. No way I'm going to deal with a bunch of juggadouches while I try and enjoy the music.

Yeah I know that I didn't put it up until they were in the MLS Cup. Honestly it was just bad timing on my part that makes me look like some bandwagon fan. I've talked before about being a MLS fan anyway so it's not like I just found out who they were, I've been following them, I've been to games, it's just now that I make it known on this forum that I like them.
