I had to put my dog down yesterday :(

i had her for 15 years since i was 10 years old. i went with my mom to be supportive of her. i shoulda never went in the room though, i fuckin fell apart yo. just thinking about all the time i spent with that dogg got to me. she had a tumor and has been in pain for a long time. couldnt even go up and down the steps anymore and was always crying up untill she got the sedative, than she was relaxed as helll. at least she isn't suffering anymore. rip

Sorry to hear that, bro. I would be a wreck in the same situation. I'm glad that you decided to be there with her though. I'm sure it made her feel more at ease as well.

the dog we put down yesterday still lived with my mom, i moved out 3 years ago, but i was over there and still saw the dog all the time. i have a 1 year old puppy that lives with me and my girl now, but i wont be getting any others any time soon, 1 is enough. my mom will eventually get another, but i know she really loved that dog and its gonna take some time.

we've been adopting for years, the dog i have now was going to be put down if the place near my house didnt take her in, shes a little crazy, but weve had her for a little while now and shes starting to calm down and get used to her surroundings.

its really sad how if dogs dont get adopted they get put down
i think that all dogs that arent show dogs should be spayed/neutered so there are less to be put in shelters

I'm really sorry to hear that.
I have a dog and she has a heart mumor which will eventually lead to heart failure resulting in us having to pit her down. I've had her for 11 years
just reading your post makes me think of how hard it will be when we have to out my dog down. I'm realy sorry

very sorry to hear that bro. i know exactly how you feel. i had to put down my baby girl 2 months ago. shes been in my life 13 years. i get sad every time i go to my grandmas now. cause i dont see her waiting for me by the gate or to put her paw up to shake my hand. i miss her so much =\
