The Cowboys on Wednesday afternoon agreed to terms on a two-year contract with Vickers, who was released by the Texans a day earlier.

Watch Marty B actually do something now instead of drop TE screens.

They need to get Fiammeta signed. He did a hell of a job opening holes for Murray.
    Well shit

    LOL...yeah this will totally happen.
It may be closer to happening then you think...

I didn't click the blog link...no need to. LOL There is no way Orton starts this season unless its because of Injury. The window is closing on Romo but I think he has a few more good seasons left before they give up on him.

*stomps around like Erik like he was listening to bring me the horizon*

ABOUT FUCKING TIME! Waking up to this was like Christmas. Now we can draft oline this year again. Let's hope we can get DeCastro from Stanford. Dude was a fucking beast and would help romo greatly. The signing of Orton was great. Very good back up and we know he's starter material. We needed someone like that for awhile. *cries of joy*
Nevermind that it's too much money. <_>
Yeah, 10 mil a year is a lot, but Brandon Carr is easily top 5 CB material. I think it could be wasted in Dallas, but he's got a ceiling around his former teammate, and most underrated CB in the league, Brandon Flowers. I like the signing, but I would have done it for something like 6 at 48 instead. I doubt he does all 5 years at 10 mil.
Oh and Kyle Orton was a good sign too! Very good backup and could start for a lot of teams.
    HAHAHAHAHA
Orton's probably a top 3 backup in the game right now. Great signing.

Reality check. Fiammeta is awful, and he deserved to go. Vickers is an upgrade, but he's not that good.

    Some IMO's...

    Favorite (non-obvious) guys left:

    Chris Myers
    Scott Wells
    Eric Winston
    Evan Mathis

    Good signings:

Jason Campbell and Blake Costanzo to the Bears
    Martellus Bennett to the Giants
    Lawrence Vickers to the Cowboys
Resigning Reggie Wayne to the Colts (HUGE)
    Jonathan Fanene to the Patriots

    Bad and/or Millen-esque signings:

Carl Nicks, Eric Wright to the Buccaneers
John Carlson to the Vikings (lolwtf, one of the worst TE's in the league. Should go to WR)
    Meachem to the Chargers
    Randy Moss to the 49ers

Until he does something this season, I don't think it's safe to call Bennett a good sign.

I think getting a player with his athleticism onto the Giants at a position of need at a relatively low number is a good signing. He might not put it up on the scoreboard, but he could have a nice season with them. Remember, even Bear Pascoe with the athletic fluidity of a brick made some nice plays for the Giants this year.

49ers, Dolphins, and Bills all interested in Mario Manningham.
My gut tells me he's gonna stay in NY.

    do they want him back?
We have cap problems but he said he is 50/50 on returning. Gotta pay him something though. As far as Cruz goes he is under contract just like Osi. Whatever happened to honoring the contract till the end of it then get a new one. I know he is def. worth more and underpaid but yeah.....

    Love it!

    Bench Romo.

The day you need a gun and don't have one, may be your last.

Teams don't honor contracts the exact same way though, so I think it evens out in the end.

The Kansas City Chiefs and RB Peyton Hillis have agreed to a deal. No word yet on how much and how long the contract is.

Is Live Free still gonna call him a top 5 back now?

Yeah you're right. Osi might be a holdout. I fucking hope not. J.R. just needs to pay this guy because it's so worth it.

I wasn't worried about keeping him anyway. Hes not a #1WR hes just a #3 WR...

That's way to much to pay for a #3.

He sure as hell played like a #1. Was better then Dez and Austin combined. I liked him a lot.

He had production, but I'm not sure it was because of his abilities. He benefited a lot from Austin and Bryant.
