The former head of officiating that always gets called in on Fox basically said "You could or could not have called it. It's a call they're not going to break out the ruler for." Paraphrasing because I didn't feel like looking up the article.
i disagree in sports a foul is not a foul ,, some situations call for a little leniency, like the expert said it could have goon either way
im not saying you should be a strict reff....i have reffed for a couple years in a highly highly competitive flag football league....but your calls should be consistent all game...if you call it on one team call it on the other...if you call it in the first call it in 4th...if you let it go in the 4th...let it go in the first
idk football is a different sport than others... in any other sport you let shit go in OT but football has always been a little more strict, especially when its a non motion call like line formation...so idk im on the fence but the play is over so mine as well forget about it
yeah i don't really care about it...but as a reff i would have let the wide out know they needed someone on the line....and then after that if someone did not cover the line by the time the ball was snapped i would call the foul
illegal formation is called at least once a game...and a foul is a foul you call it if its at the beginning of the game or the fourth quarter
Maybe Detroit has a bunch of illegal formation calls but Denver doesn't. And theres more than one kind of infraction. No one is gonna call the one that happened
oooooooooooooooh! I forgot to ask Wineo something.
Did you see during one of the games(i cant remember which game though) They were playing Electric Wizard's Vinum Sabbathi during a little hightlight thing before they cut to commercial.
i did, too. theisman acted like it was a done deal though *shrugs* whatever. i was kinda hoping for josh mcdaniels anyways. that's not happening, so i don't have much opinion otherwise.
