Risk:Reward
Maximum reward is an above the mendoza line QB. Maximum risk is a worse than Hasselbeck bust that cost you more than a first rounder.
It'd be sick for the Hawks to get Kolb, if you ask me.
You know... I think the hawks did Charlie Whitehurst wrong last year. I am a fan of Hasselbeck and all, but last year I really wanted him out and wanted Whitehurst to be the #1 starter. Hasselbeck's ship has sailed, and he is only hanging on by threads. I want him out, and I want someone in there that you can build a championship team around. I get that without Hasselbeck, they arent going to make the playoffs for 3 years at least... Im fine with that. I'd rather have that then an wild card seated team that doesnt have what it takes to win it all.
But if I had my pick between Whitehurt or Klob, Send Klob on over. :-D
lol...stafford appears to be clutch when he has had to be...and he has been doing workout specifically to strengthen his shoulder and supposedly feels better then ever...when hes on the field the guy can sling it and he has tons of weapons...please for the sake of us die hard fans stay healthy [-O<

I think Stafford could be a top 10 QB this year if he stayed healthy...
I also think that Ken Griffey Jr would have beaten Barry Bonds' HR record if he hadn't been injured so much.
Die hard M's fan here.... I think Griffey Jr dogged it. I think 90% of his games, he was giving 50% effort. Granted, that 50% effort earned him an allstar appearance every year. Still, I cry when I think about what he could have accomplished if he busted his butt a little more.
Maybe I am being harsh. Maybe what I am saying isnt true. But this was my opinion I had when I sat out in center field watching him from 95-97. I caught almost every home game for 2 straight years.

^yeah... Keep in mind that getting season tickets to the M's (out field reserved) in the kingdom in 95 was worked out to like 3-5 bucks a game. No shit. I can't remember exactly but like it was almost nothing. I lived close to seattle so going to a game was just a 5 minute bus ride.
I remember always thinking it was weird watching griffey in the field, because I'd always see the sports center highlight one one great catch he made... and the catch was fantastic and one of the 1 in 10 times he wasnt dogging it. idk... I fully admit I could just be being too hard on him. However watching how he played verses how Ichro plays, I don't know how you can compare the two. Ichrio is always hustling, where Jr always seemed to just be jogging and taking his time.

yeah a lot of the top players are like that....it frustrates me to watch miguel cabrera not run hard to first base like 90% of the time
and oh yeah...y00z is a lucky man...its been a dream of mine to someday have season tickets to either the tigers/lions/ or michigan football
Exactly! It is frustrating... Like Manny Ramirez always dogged it. I swear, it almost seems more uncommon for a top player to work his ass off. I thought Arod did a fairly good job of working his ass off (when he played for the M's at least). And Ichiro is always trying to beat out a throw.
It's FUNNY that the only time in my life that I could really afford it was when I was a broke college kid! :-)) A ticket to a M's game these days cost like twenty bucks a seat. 20 bucks * 80 games = 1600? Fuck that shit [-( And NFL season tickets are probably just as much. It's kinda bullshit how the prices of tickets have inflated so high that it is out of reach for more people.

I've charted Stafford's projected 2011 performance. here you go.

I remember watching Griffey thinking "this guy is the fucking man" when I was just a little kid.
I can't really speak to his work ethic, because I was too young to pay attention or really even care. He was hitting what I wanted to see, home runs.
