Why though? Every year under mayhew they have drafted the best player Available..all the reading Iv done hints to Dee being the top player on there board...I'm pretty sure there confident with who they have at oline because there stragety has always been to fix needs in free agency and draft to top talent available regardless of need. I only see them going tackle if fisher is there, d-line is obviously a need but I'd be wary of taking any of the talent that is there that high. If Dee is there ill probably be surprised if they don't take him...our secondary would be locked in if they did...I just see it as a good fit...then maybe going barret jones in the second and gholston in the 3-4 th preferably the 4th I think is the route there looking to take

I don't see Milliner being ranked ahead of Fisher or Joeckel on any draft board, and I'd bet we'd take Ansah before him too. There is a lot of secondary depth and there will be good options for them to look at beyond round 1. I wouldn't be upset with Milliner but I think they can do better.
Gholston would be a horrible pick. I don't like his game at all.
I don't think he would be a bad pick in the later rounds considering the risk/reward at the later rounds...Im very wary of all the hype behind the top de talent this year

Believe nothing when it comes to information you hear before the draft. If Fisher or Joeckel are there, the only thing that should stop the Lions drafting them is them tripping over their own feet.
I'll end this 6 months of Lion draft pick speculation.
They will pick someone. he will likely sit out a year or two for injury problems. If he doesn't sit out a year or two with injury problems he will be a criminal. If he isn't a criminal he will suck. But the most likely scenario is that they will pick a criminal who has injury problems and also sucks.
